is a 29-story hotel located at 1950 Eisenhower Blvd, connected directly to the Broward County Convention Center. The property offers 801 guest rooms and suites, multiple restaurants, a vibrant rooftop bar, a sprawling pool, spa, and fitness center. It will also feature over 120,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space, including a grand ballroom, junior ballroom, 25 breakout rooms, and pre-function meeting space with waterfront views. Senior Human Resources Manager
assists with managing all functions of the Human Resources department, including training, benefits management, employee relations, and recruitment, in accordance with Omni standards. Responsibilities
In the absence of the Director and Assistant Director of HR, assumes responsibility for the Human Resources Department. Participates in planning and executing associate events planned by the Human Resources Department. Develops associate communication networks within the hotel, via bulletin boards, department communication boards, posters, and flyers. Acts as liaison to management for all associates. Documents all associate issues accurately and timely, following counseling and disciplinary procedures. Possesses excellent knowledge of Benefits Administration, Benefit and Employment Law, ERISA Law, FMLA, ADA, and Workers Compensation Law. Ensures Leave of Absence Policy adherence, tracks leaves, and follows correct documentation and procedures. Develops and/or participates in staff training initiatives, including monthly management training and departmental service training. Ensures safety training is integrated into departmental meetings and daily operations. Collaborates with Risk Management for incident/accident reporting, proper use of forms, medical services, and insurance reporting standards. Promotes Omni Six Pillars Culture and opportunities within the hotel and company. Pre-screens line/management applicants, administers the Predictive Index, and explains the process to management. Develops networking contacts and coordinates local job fairs with colleges. Conducts exit interviews for terminating associates and ensures final clearance and paycheck distribution. Manages HRIS to ensure compliance with applicant flow logs, drug testing, I9s, background checks, and references. Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources Leadership experience. Experience working with labor unions is preferred but not required. Experience conducting complex investigations. Flexible schedule, including some weekends. Proficient in Microsoft Office products. Bachelor's degree preferred. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to coach, counsel, advise, mentor, and motivate associates and managers at all levels. Prior hotel Human Resources experience is preferred. Fluent in Spanish or Haitian Creole is preferred but not required.
