This opportunity is a customer service within a successful Multi-line Agency. The agency is a dynamic organization backed by many years of industry experience. It is a vital role for the agency, as it involves both the effective servicing of existing policies and households as well as recognition of cross selling opportunities.

Insurance Customer Service Representative Requirements

  • Property and casualty license strongly preferred
  • Minimum one-year insurance or financial services customer service/ sales experience preferred
  • A genuine care and concern for people and their insurance needs
  • The ability to multi-task while utilizing a tech-savvy approach to sales and service
  • The ability to work within a team concept in a fun, fast-paced office environment
  • Must be able to persevere through difficult client interactions

Insurance Customer Service Representative Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

  • Customer service duties via phone and email
  • Renewals/Requoting/Processing new business quotes
  • Servicing of existing customers/households including billing
  • Engaging in proactive policy retention strategies
  • Quoting and preparation of insurance proposals
  • Remarketing and cross selling of current clients
  • Assisting the agent with various research and follow-up tasks
