Role Overview The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Global Sales Compensation (GSC) Operations team is seeking a Sales Compensation Systems Analyst to support day‑to‑day administration of the Varicent ICM sales compensation system for sales incentive–eligible employees globally. Objectives include driving operational process improvements in compensation, quota management, compensation adjustments, quarterly payouts, and plan administration, while expanding tool scalability. Key Responsibilities Validate data; quantify impact through analysis and communicate resolutions and timelines to leadership. Identify operational risks and engage stakeholders to frame issues and desired end states. Communicate effectively with technical teams on root causes of issues and business requirements. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) for process and system updates. Assist with distribution of incentive compensation plans, including plan set‑up, quota shifts, and revenue adjustments. Ensure all compensation methodologies, policies, procedures, and governance are followed. Collaborate with internal stakeholders—HR, Tax, and Legal—to maintain policies in production. Support global quarterly commission payout process, including manual adjustments, calculations, and approval. Create mechanisms to improve process efficiency. Strong Excel and SQL skills preferred. Qualifications Proven track record of ownership and accountability delivering best‑in‑class support. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM tools. Experience defining, refining, and implementing sales processes, procedures, and policies. Prior sales compensation experience. Experience with Varicent, Xactly, or similar sales ICM tools. 5+ years of finance, business management, and sales operations experience. Experience working within a high‑growth technology company. 5+ years of Microsoft Excel experience. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Compensation & Benefits The base salary range for this position is: Colorado: $88,100 - $154,100 annually National: $79,300 - $169,500 annually For salaried roles, your Amazon package includes sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs).
