Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Float Pool ICU position requiring MA licensure and Level 1 trauma experience.
Responsibilities
Work in the Critical Care Float Pool of a hospital setting
Patient population includes ICU and Medical ICU cases
12-hour rotating shifts covering both days and nights
Required to work every third weekend
Floating among critical care units is required
Weekly orientation sessions provided, typically beginning each Monday except holidays
Pass/fail Tele/ECG and medication testing may be required
A six-month break is required for all previous employees before returning to any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility
No local candidates accepted; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Parking costs may be up to $43 per day
Requirements
Active MA RN license required at time of consideration
Current AHA CPR and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a Level 1 trauma facility required
Must be willing and able to float to critical care units as needed
COVID-19 vaccine with booster and flu vaccination required (medical exemptions allowed)
