Provide senior‑level computer and software engineering expertise for HM&E cybersecurity solutions, leading the design, integration, testing, and sustainment of advanced, data‑centric capabilities. The role drives the development of secure software architectures, oversees system‑level interoperability and performance assessments, and ensures that cybersecurity features are embedded throughout the engineering lifecycle. The engineer also guides data modeling, analytics, and automation efforts to enhance situational awareness, resilience, and mission readiness across HM&E and Naval Control System environments. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and modify secure software solutions, including distributed/HPC components. Lead integration and testing activities, executing unit and system‑level tests. Develop data models and ontologies; perform RDF/OWL/SPARQL‑based querying and validation. Produce technical reports, documentation, and release notes to support decision‑making. Apply secure development, code review, and automated testing within DevSecOps pipelines. Use Git/GitLab, Jenkins/Tekton, SonarQube/Coverity, AWS/Azure, and semantic‑data tools. Ensure compliance with Navy cybersecurity policies, RMF, quality standards, and required trainings. Required Skills And Experience

MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (ABET), or MS in CS, Data Science, Information Sciences, AI, or ML. Advanced programming; data engineering/ontologies; secure development and testing. At least seven (7) years as an electrical/computer/software engineer or in computer/data/information sciences/computer networks. Advanced programming and secure software development. Data engineering and ontology development (RDF/OWL/SPARQL). Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, and code quality tools. Familiarity with AWS/Azure and Git/GitLab‑based configuration management. Ability to work effectively remotely in cross‑functional teams. Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work. Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint). Preferred Skills and Experience

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance. Work Location

Flexible remote or hybrid; may work from Pantheon Data office or client site as required. Remote or hybrid roles allow periodic attendance at office sites for collaboration. On‑site work may be required for specific client engagements. Compensation

The salary range for this position is $79,214 per year, with final pay based on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements. Compensation may fall outside this range. Benefits Overview
