General Manager – Victra (Verizon Authorized Retailer) Victra is the largest Verizon authorized retailer in the United States. As a General Manager, you shape our guest experience, coaching your team to deliver the best to every guest, every time. You will develop assistants who learn what it means to lead at Victra and help the store exceed sales targets while maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Building, developing, and mentoring your sales team.

Teaching, coaching, and following the sales process with every guest, every time.

Attracting and retaining top caliber employees.

Brand advocate for Victra.

Providing ongoing sales training and support to exceed sales, retention, quality, and service objectives.

Engaging in sales strategy development to ensure products and services are effectively showcased throughout the store.

Ensuring store employees meet or exceed defined monthly success measurements and complete assigned training on time.

Developing and implementing sales tools and initiatives.

Maintaining store performance through retail inventory compliance.

Engaging in business operations including budgeting, forecasting, analyzing, and providing sales reports.

Identifying innovative ways to drive traffic and capitalize on existing customers.

Owning store success and taking responsibility for staffing, scheduling, labor controls, marketing, loss prevention, and all other store functions.

Owning all guest escalations and providing timely resolutions.

Clearly communicating company objectives and priorities to team members and ensuring timely follow‑up.

Staying up to date with new sales promotions and ensuring guests receive complete solutions to meet their current and future needs.

Compensation Pay will include a base rate of $22.50 per hour with uncapped earning potential through commission.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in a retail sales environment, 2 years in a leadership/supervisory role.

Management experience in a commissions‑based sales environment.

Proven track record of achieving challenging team and individual sales goals.

Ability to balance multiple opposing priorities in a multifaceted environment.

Experience setting goals, evaluating performance, and developing a high‑performing team.

Basic interview skills and enhanced staffing knowledge.

High school diploma or GED.

One or more years of customer service, preferably in a retail or sales environment.

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.

At least 18 years of age.

Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift ten pounds.

Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Training Requirements All General Managers are required to attend and successfully complete a 4‑day New Hire University (NHU) training program within 2 weeks of their official start date (overnight travel may be required at the company’s expense). All General Managers are also required to attend and successfully complete a 3‑day General Manager University (SMU) training program within 30 days of completing NHU (overnight travel may be required at the company’s expense). Various online and computer‑based training will be required throughout your employment with Victra.
