Position Summary In accordance with established company policies, responsible for all aspects of the facility’s operations, including resident and employee relations, financial management, safety, quality assurance, growth, program management, and regulatory compliance.

Essential Responsibilities

On‑site physical oversight of day‑to‑day operations.

Ensure all state and federal requirements for assisted‑living programs are met.

Financial management: develop operational budgets, forecast, manage staffing and capital requirements.

Implement facility’s sales and marketing initiatives to meet occupancy objectives.

Oversee internal and external customer relations, community relations, resident/family relations.

Human Resources: coach and develop management team, address employee issues.

Implement and manage company policy and standards.

Ensure residents have access to appropriate medical and psychosocial services.

Develop and implement staffing plans, orientation, training programs.

Monitor and oversee implementation of each resident’s service plan.

Maintain compliance with all state, federal, local regulations and keep accurate records.

Respect and enhance dignity, privacy, and independence of each resident.

Develop, implement, and manage employee retention and appreciation programs.

Manage the assisted‑living program: recruiting, hiring, training, supervising staff, ensuring background checks; coordinate recruiting initiatives.

Other duties as directed.

Qualifications / Skills / Educational Requirements

Assisted Living Manager certification in MD required.

Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college/university, or one‑two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination.

At least 2 years of experience as a licensed Assisted Living Manager/Administrator.
