The WW eCommerce Marketing team strives to design customer centric digital marketing experiences that grow pipeline, enable conversion, drive retention & build advocacy. The World Wide eCommerce Media Strategist is a key global role responsible for shaping and executing integrated digital media strategies that drive traffic, engagement, and conversion across Lenovo.com. Reporting to the Head of WW eCommerce Strategy & Planning, this position sits within the WW eCommerce Marketing team, focused on delivering customer-centric digital experiences that fuel pipeline growth, conversion, retention, and advocacy. This strategist will lead global paid media planning across the full funnel-including display, video, audio, SEM, and social - partnering closely with GEO teams to co-create locally relevant media plans that align with Lenovo's broader marketing framework. Success in this role requires a strategic mindset, strong cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to navigate a highly matrixed global organization. Key Responsibilities
Lead Full-Funnel Media Strategy : Develop and execute integrated paid media strategies across display, video, audio, SEM, and social to drive awareness, engagement, and conversion. Partner with GEO Teams : Collaborate directly with regional marketing teams to co-develop innovative media plans tailored to local market dynamics, while ensuring alignment with global priorities. Cross-Functional Alignment : Work closely with Brand, Segment, Analytics, and UX teams to ensure cohesive messaging, seamless user experiences, and unified brand-to-demand execution. Agency & Partner Management : Oversee global media agency relationships, ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, and innovation. Manage escalations and ensure service-level agreements are met. Global Collaboration : Coordinate with Lenovo's Global Media Center of Excellence and other global stakeholders to share best practices, pilot new tools, and scale successful initiatives. Performance & Optimization : Use data and insights to continuously refine media strategies, improve ROI, and identify new growth opportunities across the funnel. Strategic Planning : Leverage competitive insights, historical data, and market trends to inform annual media plans and strategic initiatives that support Lenovo's eCommerce growth. Innovation & Thought Leadership : Stay ahead of digital trends and platform innovations. Partner with media platforms (e.g., Google, Meta) to test new formats and share learnings globally. Measurement & Reporting : Drive campaign measurement, reporting, and experimentation to inform future strategy and improve conversion outcomes. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field 10-14 years in digital marketing/ media strategy, with at least 5 years of leading full-funnel paid media campaigns globally Preferred Qualifications
Ability to interpret competitive insights and market trends Skilled in data driven decision making, using insights to optimize campaigns and inform annual planning Demonstrated success driving measurable growth and scaling campaigns across markets Deep knowledge of paid media channels, analytic tools, and agency management Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams and manage global stakeholders for cohesive strategic execution The base salary range budgeted for this position is $165,000 - $200,000.
