Alternate Site Manager Olgoonik Corporation is hiring for the Alternate Site Manager role. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Base Pay Range $90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Primary Responsibilities

Act as Site Manager in their absence.

Implement personnel and operational management policies and procedures.

Follow established priorities for scheduling.

Interface and coordinate with all elements of the organization to ensure a full and complete understanding of real‑time capabilities that impact mission execution.

Work semi‑independently implementing personnel management policies and procedures to accomplish the depot mission.

Strive to meet all operational goals, objectives, and production requirements.

Manage and supervise employees in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws; train subordinate leaders, appraise performance, address complaints, and resolve problems.

Ensure that the responsibilities of authority and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood.

Promote effective two‑way communications throughout the business operation.

Represent Distribution Center to Host Commander in the absence of Program/Site Manager.

Initiate changes designed to improve control and efficiency of transportation and production control processes and operations.

Serve as a key member of the Team Olgoonik quality effort; share ideas and issues as a member of cross‑functional teams assigned to improve standards and performance across the operation.

Perform all other related duties as assigned or requested.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Implement employee incentives; mentor and train employees.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Distribution Management, Business Management or Business Administration, or five years of Distribution Management experience.

Two years’ progressive management experience in distribution operations.

Three years’ specific experience managing a distribution, supply, industrial or transportation operation involved in receipt, transportation, storage, repair and issue of stores in stock.

Minimum of two years’ experience using automated warehouse management systems within the past five years.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Articulate, creative, problem solver, decision maker, and change agent.

Excellent organizational and planning skills.

Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).

Good team member attitude and ability to work as a member of a team.

Self‑motivated and able to work effectively under minimal supervision.

Ability to multi‑task efficiently, work in a fast‑paced environment on multiple projects, and maintain strong attention to detail.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

None required.

Security Clearance Position requires U.S. citizenship, a U.S. Government background check, and may require a U.S. Government SECRET clearance.

If SECRET clearance is required, the candidate must have a current U.S. Government SECRET Personnel Security Clearance or be able to successfully complete a U.S. Government administered investigation.

Candidate must be able to maintain a U.S. Government SECRET clearance.

Physical Demands The employee must occasionally stand, walk, sit, use hands and/or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls, operate office equipment, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, talk or hear, taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Work Environment General office environment. Some domestic and international travel required based on business demands.
