Territory Sales Manager (TSM) - Northern California
Role Overview
We are seeking a driven
Territory Sales Manager
to grow market share by building relationships with contractors, engineers, and distributors in high‑potential territories. This is a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment where strong sellers can make an immediate impact.
Reports To
VP of Sales – West Region
Territories Hiring
Northern California (can be based in Sacramento, San Jose, San Francisco, or surrounding areas)
Travel
Up to 75% (including overnight and heavy local travel)
Products Sold
PVF and plumbing products to the industrial and commercial sector
Key Responsibilities
Drive new business using both bottom‑up (contractor) and top‑down (engineer/specification) selling approaches.
Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, engineers, distributors, and key accounts.
Execute territory sales plans aligned with company growth goals.
Deliver product presentations, trainings, and demos.
Prepare quotes, proposals, and pricing packages.
Gather market insights and competitive intelligence.
Attend trade shows, buying group events, and customer site visits.
Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to ensure strong customer support.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or plumbing sales (plumbing preferred).
Proven hunter mentality with strong territory development skills.
Excellent relationship‑building and consultative selling skills.
Ability to work independently and travel extensively.
Organized, self‑driven, and professional communicator.
Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred in some markets.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Flexible competitive base salary along with uncapped commissions.
