Overview
A growing consumer products organization is seeking a Finance Director to lead financial planning, commercial finance, and operational analytics for its eCommerce channel. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for driving financial performance, guiding long-term strategy, and partnering closely with senior leadership across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and HR. The ideal candidate is a hands-on builder who thrives in evolving, high-growth environments and has meaningful experience in eCommerce (preferably Amazon), multi-brand portfolios, and cross-functional collaboration. This leader will shape financial strategy, improve processes, and enable scalable growth across a diversified product portfolio. Base pay range
$170,000.00/yr - $200,000.00/yr Additional compensation types
Annual Bonus Key Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic finance partner to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations that support data-driven decision-making. Lead the FP&A function, including monthly reporting, quarterly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning. Partner with channel leadership to deliver revenue, EBITDA, and free cash flow targets. Guide commercial strategy development for a multi-branded product portfolio, with a focus on eCommerce growth. Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and recommend course-corrective actions. Drive strategic initiatives including: Pricing strategy improvements across channels and brands Supply chain and cost structure optimization Data architecture and/or ERP enhancement projects New product financial modeling, commercialization support, and SKU rationalization Implement a standard cost model to support visibility into margin performance and strategic decision-making. Support the continued improvement of S&OP/S&OE processes to strengthen alignment between operations and finance. Establish accurate forecasting frameworks and performance tracking tools. Lead, mentor, and develop finance team members while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Qualifications
10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting within consumer goods, retail, or similar commercial environments. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree or CPA preferred. Proven success in P&L management and driving improvements in EBITDA and cash flow. Experience working in eCommerce, marketplace channels (Amazon highly preferred). Demonstrated success in environments with multi-brand portfolios, process transformation, and operational complexity.
