Since 2008, we’ve grown into one of the Southeast’s most trusted providers of refurbished devices. As we expand across multiple online marketplaces and retail channels, we are strengthening our finance team to support accurate reporting, strong cash flow, and smart, data-driven decisions.
Position Overview We are looking for a hands-on Director of Finance to oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, cash flow management, and multi-channel ecommerce reporting. This role supports leadership by providing accurate financial insights and helping build reliable financial processes as the business scales.
This is a full-time, on-site position with growing responsibilities and opportunities to build a team.
What You Will Do
Oversee month-end close and prepare timely financial statements.
Manage AP/AR, general ledger, reconciliations, and accounting accuracy.
Ensure proper accounting for inventory, COGS, returns/RMA, and depreciation.
Maintain GAAP compliance and coordinate with external accountants.
Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis
Build annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
Track actual results vs. budget; explain variances.
Create dashboards to report revenue, margins, expenses, and cash flow.
Provide financial insights that support purchasing, hiring, and pricing decisions.
Cash Flow & Capital Management
Monitor daily and weekly cash flow needs.
Manage company credit lines, loans, and banking relationships.
Prepare lender-ready financial packages and projections.
Marketplace & Ecommerce Finance
Reconcile payments, fees, returns, and deductions across Amazon, Walmart, BackMarket, Shopify, TikTok, and more.
Validate marketplace settlement reports and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
Analyze marketplace margins, fees, refunds, and chargebacks.
Process Improvement & Systems
Create SOPs for accounting, reporting, and financial controls.
Improve automation, reporting tools, and internal workflows.
Support ERP/WMS alignment
Manage and develop finance team members.
Work cross-functionally with Operations, E-Commerce, and Leadership.
Present financial updates to ownership with clear recommendations.
What You Need to Have Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
5–10+ years of finance or accounting experience, ideally in ecommerce, retail, or inventory-based companies.
Strong understanding of cash flow, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
Experience with multi-channel marketplace accounting and reconciliation.
High proficiency in Excel/Sheets and financial systems.
Experience with inventory/ERP platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to create structure, improve processes, and implement controls.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, growing environment.
Schedule
Full-time, on-site role in Greenville, SC.
Standard 40 hours per week, but 45–55 hours may be required during month-end close, audits, or busy periods.
Compensation $110,000 – $125,000 base salary +potential 10–15% performance bonus
Compensation will depend on experience and marketplace/ecommerce knowledge.
