The Global Benefits Benchmarking/D&A Consultant is a great career opportunity that offers diversified project and client exposure. Duties include support in a variety of Global Benefits Management and/or other Global Benefits projects where Benchmarking and/or Data & Analytics is a component or core to the proposition.

Benchmarking (50%)

Support client projects in Benchmarking and Data & Analytics with limited direction through completion and within established time frames and financial parameters to attain overall client deliverables.

Attend client meetings and present results as an integral part of a collaborative client service team.

Knowledge of our benchmarking spectrum and various offerings / capabilities.

Familiarity with Market Research team and how to interact with them to deliver benchmarking services.

Strong technical skills (actuarial background preferred) to peer review results of Quantum studies.

Data & Analytics Project Delivery (50%)

Lead support role in the delivery of key D&A projects in the region working with an existing client team, the North America D&A community, supporting analytics teams and other junior colleagues as appropriate. This may be a standalone basis or part of a wider project or initiative.

Support the template deliverables for core D&A projects – including onboarding / delivery of standard analytic suite solutions for our clients (e.g., Analytics Hub/Claims Analytics support for new users).

Other Responsibilities

Resolve client issues at appropriate levels and inform relationship manager and other team members of pertinent issues.

Communicate with external parties via phone and email such as HR contacts, plan sponsors, auditors, etc. to resolve issues, research and respond to routine inquiries, gather and prepare data.

Conduct internal meetings and take notes, monitor and execute deliverables and accountabilities based on project scope and statement of work.

Identify additional potential work and any out-of-scope services requested by clients.

Achieve specified client servicing deliverables and goals identified each year, based on experience and technical skill – may include billable hours, utilization goals, etc.

Support senior members of the group in developing business opportunities through introduction of additional services for existing clients.

Skills and Experience That Will Lead to Success

5+ years of direct experience in an HR consulting firm or professional services firm.

Strong management and analytical ability.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation skills.

Strong organizational skills, ability to handle multiple projects in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment.

Working knowledge of employee benefits.

Demonstrated interest in the global environment, other cultures and languages.

Preferred Knowledge & Experience

International or non‑US benefits consulting experience.

Demonstrated consultative skills to effectively work in a cohesive team environment and communicate with a variety of internal and external parties.

Education

Bachelor’s degree (mathematics, finance, economics or other quantitative fields preferred).

Advanced degree or project management certification is an advantage.

Pay Transparency Laws The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $92,000 to $122,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon’s annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
