San Francisco, CA – The San Francisco office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking attorneys to join its Healthcare & Long-Term Care Litigation Practice Group.
Qualified candidates must be admitted to practice in California and have 1 to 7 years of experience representing healthcare providers in state and federal courts and administrative proceedings. Preference will be given to those with experience defending and litigating medical malpractice lawsuits.
Responsibilities include drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, drafting and arguing motions in open court, interviewing witnesses, taking and defending depositions, and preparing cases for trial. Candidates should have strong writing and analytical skills, and be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be a self‑starter who can work independently and as part of a team.
Although preference will be given to those with healthcare law experience, we are also interested in talented attorneys with expertise in any litigation arena and a demonstrated interest in healthcare law.
