Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a current CA license and strong critical care skills for a night shift position.
Responsibilities
Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
Night shifts with three 12-hour shifts per week from 19:00 to 07:30
May be required to float to other units within scope of practice or to Summit or Herrick campuses, with shuttle transport provided
Weekend shifts required every other weekend and as needed based on unit staffing
On-call duties assigned as needed
Responsible for delivering high-quality care to critically ill patients
Flexibility with assignment location and floating is necessary
Only one holiday time-off request will be approved
Lab work must be completed within 3-5 days of contract signing
Requirements
Active California RN license required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum of 3 years of ICU RN experience required
Must have at least 1 year of travel nursing experience
Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
Returning employees must have been gone at least 1 year before being eligible
