Role Description Azure DevOps Specialist I – DevOps Engineering

The Opportunity

Implement test automation frameworks and scripting solutions using Python and PowerShell with a focus on C# applications.

Analyze and enhance existing C# codebase to optimize build and test systems based on user feedback and project requirements.

Develop and execute effective build, test, and deployment strategies for C# applications to ensure software reliability and scalability.

Manage and maintain the Azure DevOps ecosystem and associated tools to support continuous integration, continuous testing, and reporting for C# projects.

Automate creation of dashboards and add new features into Azure DevOps to enhance project visibility and management.

What You Need

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell for automation tasks, with a focus on C# projects.

Experience with build and test systems including CMake, Makefile, and cmocka, adapted for C# development.

Minimum 5 years of prior experience in DevOps roles, preferably with expertise in GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms, specifically applied to C# projects.

Familiarity with CI/CD principles, maintenance practices, uptime monitoring, and code quality metrics, with a focus on C# applications.

Proficiency in TCL is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience.

Role Location:

Washington.

Compensation Range:

$105,000–$158,000.

Full‑time employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro‑rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and eligibility for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. Employees are eligible to participate in the company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. Medical, dental, and vision insurance are provided to employees and U.S. dependents. Additional benefits include basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, short‑ and long‑term disability benefits, HSA, and FSA for healthcare and dependent child care.
