Sage Overview

As a Senior Product Manager for AP & AR Automation, you’ll define and drive the product strategy that simplifies how customers manage their outgoing and incoming payments. You’ll research, prioritize, design, and help deliver world‑class automation features that streamline vendor payments, accelerate collections, and provide real‑time visibility into cash position across global markets. This role blends strategic thinking with hands‑on product execution. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering, design, data science, and go‑to‑market teams to build AI‑powered solutions that help finance teams work faster, smarter, and with greater confidence. What You’ll Do

Shape the roadmap for Sage Intacct’s AP and AR automation capabilities — including invoice processing, approval workflows, customer payments, and intelligent cash‑flow management. Conduct deep market and user research to uncover customer pain points and identify emerging trends in payments, collections, and automation. Define and prioritize product requirements to enhance efficiency across the entire payables and receivables lifecycle. Collaborate across teams — engineering, UX, and data — to deliver intuitive experiences for finance users, vendors, and customers. Track global industry trends in B2B payments, AR automation, and accounting technologies to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth. Leverage analytics and AI insights to recommend automation rules, predict late payments, and optimize approval and collection strategies. Lead pre‑release programs (early adopters, betas) to validate usability and ensure product readiness. Partner with marketing and enablement teams to craft messaging, training, and launch materials that communicate value to customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. Perform competitive analysis to understand how Sage Intacct’s AP/AR offerings stack against industry peers, and feed insights into roadmap planning. Champion the customer experience across the full payment journey — from invoice creation to cash collection. What You’ll Bring

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field. Solid understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable workflows. Familiarity with electronic payments, collections, and automation trends. Proven success in Product Management within a SaaS or cloud‑based financial solution. Experience collaborating with remote and cross‑functional teams. Skilled in analysis, clear communication, and creating impactful stories. Ability to translate complex financial and technical concepts into clear, actionable product requirements. Demonstrated ability to lead product discovery, define priorities, and deliver measurable outcomes. This is a hybrid role – working three days per week in our Atlanta office. Benefits

Competitive salaries. Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage. 401(k) retirement match (100% matching up to 4%). 32 days paid time off (21 personal days, 10 national holidays, 1 floating holiday). 18 weeks paid parental leave for birth, adoption, or surrogacy (offered 1 year after start date). 5 days paid yearly to volunteer (through Sage Foundation). $5,250 tuition reimbursement per calendar year (starting 6 months after hire date). Sage Wellness Rewards Program ($600 wellness credit and $360 fitness reimbursement annually). Ongoing career development with a library of on-demand options and training offerings.
