Role Description This part‑time hybrid role, based in Kathmandu with some work‑from‑home flexibility, involves serving as a Senior PLC Programmer. Responsibilities include programming, testing, and debugging programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate industrial processes, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to design, troubleshoot, and modify control systems, performing system diagnostics, reading electrical schematics and blueprints, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards during development and implementation.
Qualifications
Proficiency in PLC programming, logic control design, and testing
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
Experience in industrial automation and control, including hardware integration
Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem‑solving skills
Understanding of safety and quality standards in control systems
Experience with modern communication protocols and HMI/SCADA systems is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering, or related field
At least 5 years of proven experience in PLC programming and industrial automation
Excellent communication and team collaboration capabilities
