Job Description The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team offers the opportunity to build and operate a suite of massive‑scale, integrated cloud services in a broadly distributed, multi‑tenant cloud environment. The Object Store team is responsible for a performant, scalable, highly available, and durable object store built from the ground up. This team sits squarely at the center of Oracle’s public cloud efforts.
Responsibilities
Work with senior architects and product management to define requirements.
Design and implement new features.
Define and guide engineering processes and procedures.
Review code written by peers to ensure correctness and adherence to the team’s design principles.
Operate services that host massive amounts of data.
Contribute to operations excellence of the object storage service on a rotational basis.
Skills
Java (Expert Level)
C++ (Intermediate)
Oracle Database
Experience with Distributed or NoSQL Database systems
Cloud Architecture expertise
Performance Engineering

Location & Salary US – Hiring Range: $79,200 – $178,100 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
