Software Engineer II - Full Stack serves as an individual contributor within a team; with the support and guidance of leadership, responsible for meeting scope, schedule and delivery requirements. Begin to develop an awareness and understanding of the engineering function within the program, and interact with stakeholders. Estimates and completes development tasks including coding, requirements gathering, and analysis with a moderate level of feedback and guidance from their team Debugs, optimizes, maintains, and monitors work in both test and production environments Develops tests, monitoring/instrumentation, analytics, and deployment pipeline changes as appropriate for the given task Participates in on-call rotations with their team as necessary Builds technical and communication skills, gaining context around surrounding areas Participates in planning sessions, building understanding of major architectures and design patterns Actively participates in design and asks questions to work toward understanding of technical trade-offs, interactions, and dependencies in the system Development of influential skills to help make tactical decisions and support onboarding for new developers Exhibits understanding for other roles and practices, including how they are intended to work together Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of engineering experience Relevant years of experience may be substituted for education Experience with Microsoft .Net, ASP.NET MVC/Core, JBoss, AngularJS, WebAPI, Web Forms, J2EE Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, Power BI, MicroStrategy Experience with Acquisition Service Bus (ASB), Power Automate Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, SSOi, SSOe Experience with legacy modernization: FORCE X, EPIC, eCOR, ARM BTT, iFAMS, FMS, VISTA/IFCAP, and others Experience with Section 508, WCGAG 2.2, Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs) Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with VA ecosystems highly preferred Compensation
