Overview
Sr, Manager, Administrative Operations - Strategy & Transformation role at the University of Miami. This position oversees administrative operations, staff supervision, and process improvement to support the department’s strategic goals. Responsibilities
Ensures all administrative operations run smoothly and efficiently. Evaluates internal controls and approval processes and recommends improvements to fiscal integrity and operational efficiency. Coordinates, plans and directs services that support the running of the department. Plans and coordinates the duties of staff and analyzes complex administrative concerns. Develops and implements department processes. Oversees the review, approval and reporting of all expenditures. Implements department human resources actions, including hiring and terminations, salary processing, recruiting, training, and performance reporting for staff. Manages and coordinates administrative operations for the department/division; plans and evaluates activities. Oversees staff in day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensures projects and department milestones/goals are met and align with approved budgets. Purchases and maintains office equipment and supplies. Tracks and analyzes operational costs. Manages service delivery with other departments. Establishes and continuously assesses internal controls within the unit and ensures compliance with University policies and procedures; trains employees on controls and policies. Qualifications
Core Qualifications Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent/relevant experience, certification or license Experience:
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience required Certification and Licensing:
