Leading manufacturer of automotive parts with over 50 retail outlets seeks Bilingual Spanish HR Business Partner with 7+ years

experience managing HR for at least 50+ multi‑unit retail stores in a retail or automotive (or similar) industry vertical, to partner closely with store leaders to deliver proactive HR support that aligns with business goals and enhances the teammate experience, and provide expert guidance on employee relations, performance management, organizational development, and workforce planning.

Must have experience managing HR for 50 or more multi‑unit retail/ store/ showroom outlets, and strong knowledge of local State (Minneapolis) and Federal HR Law and Practices.

This is a visible and key role in the organization, and will be a trusted advisor on the regional leadership team – as such comes with lots of career growth upside potential.

The role requires up to 50% (local) travel, mostly day trips to stores, within the area.

Additional responsibilities:

Champion our values and culture by fostering an inclusive, respectful, and engaging work environment.

Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to implement enterprise‑wide initiatives in talent development, compensation, benefits, and DEI.

Analyze HR data and trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational impact.

Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws and company policies, serving as a subject matter expert on regional employment practices.

Support change management efforts and lead initiatives that drive teammate engagement and retention.

Oversee headcount management and partner with our Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) team to ensure timely and effective staffing across the region.

Requirements:

7+ years

Retail

HR Business Partner experience - in a retail, automotive or similar industry managing HR over multiple retail outlets.

Bi‑lingual in Spanish

Must have experience with 50+ multi‑unit location HR management.

Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time – mostly day travel, occasional overnight)

Strong knowledge of State and Federal HR Law and Practices

Strong relational, trust building, supportive, experience with working with all levels of leadership, change management, HR knowledge, analytical

Bi‑lingual Spanish, SHRM Certification or HRCI Certification, Union Environment experience, Automotive experience
