Responsibilities
Cedar Hills Hospital currently has an opening for a
RN
in our dynamic mental health facility, who will provide safe and effective nursing care in their assigned work area(s) in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Cedar Hills Hospital and within the framework of established policies and procedures of the Nursing Department.
Full Time 3 -12 hour shifts
Part-Time 2 - 12 hour shifts - not benefit eligble.
The
RN
collaborates with physicians, licensed independent practitioners, and multidisciplinary team members to promote and restore patients' health by assessing patients, planning for their care, and providing physical and psychological treatment.

Who We Are Cedar Hills Hospital is a 98-bed, freestanding psychiatric hospital and outpatient center specializing in mental health and substance use disorder treatment. Cedar Hills Hospital provides a wide range of services and programs that offer evidence-based treatment proven to have positive outcomes for our patients. Our inpatient and outpatient services offer supportive and compassionate care through specialty programs tailored to meet the needs of our patients.

What We Offer
$48 - $66/hour plus shift differentials and incentive pay
Compressed workweek for work/life balanced scheduling
Day, swing, or night shifts available

The range displayed on each job posting reflects the base rate of pay and minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Qualifications Position Requirements
Education:
Associates degree in a school or nursing; Bachelors of Nursing preferred.
Experience:
One or more year's psychiatric nursing experience is a plus but it not required. 1 year of RN experience required.
Licensure:
Currently has an unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse through the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
Must be able to demonstrate core nursing knowledge/competencies including, but not limited to medication administration and principles of adult education; ability to read, comprehend, and execute policies, procedures, treatment plans, and clinical standards found in nursing practice literature; ability to provide succinct and effective oral and written communications to co-workers and patients; able to make sound, independent judgments based on scientific and/or ethical principles; and knowledge of behavior management strategies required to provide care for persons with psychiatric and/or substance use disorders.
Must demonstrate basic computer literacy.
May be asked to work occasional overtime and flexible hours. Ability to work weekends is required.
