Responsibilities

Cedar Hills Hospital is seeking an HR Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, coordinating interviews, managing onboarding and facilitating orientation of new employees in a healthcare setting. The HR Coordinator ensures employees meet compliance with state and federal regulation and accrediting bodies prior to starting employment and assisting with general HR administrative duties as needed.

Start Date: January 2026

Responsibilities

  • Post open positions and facilitate the interview process, including pre-screening candidates, coordinating interviews and collecting post interview feedback.
  • Partner with hiring managers to ensure candidates meet job description requirements.
  • Guide the onboarding process including sending offers, processing background checks, and entering new hire information.
  • Ensure new employees are compliant with position and company requirements prior to starting employment.
  • Leverage programs such as job boards and social media; proactively sourcing candidates and building diverse talent pools.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of talent-related strategies including partnerships with local high schools and colleges.
  • Work with clinical education to coordinate and onboard interns and practicum students.
  • Attend job fairs and events aimed at recruitment and community involvement.
  • Track and report metrics, such as time-to-fill, time to post, emergent positions.
  • Input and maintain day-to-day employee data in HRIS
  • Facilitate new employee orientation and serve as a liaison between new employees and management
  • Ensure employee files are complete including I9s and job descriptions

Qualifications

  • 1 year HR experience
  • 1 year experience in a healthcare environment is strongly referred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
  • ICIMS or similar ATS proficiency
  • HRIS experience
  • Expertise with Indeed, Linked In and other forms of social media utilized as a recruitment tool
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
