We are seeking a licensed Senior Project Architect to lead design efforts on a large‑scale, multi‑phase healthcare expansion. This role includes new inpatient tower construction, infrastructure upgrades, seismic retrofitting, and renovations, all while maintaining active hospital operations.

Responsibilities

Lead design efforts on large‑scale healthcare expansion projects.

Oversee new inpatient tower construction, infrastructure upgrades, seismic retrofitting, and renovations.

Ensure projects maintain active hospital operations throughout the construction process.

Coordinate with teams, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

Ensure compliance with building codes, specifications, and construction administration.

Essential Skills

10+ years preferred experience; open to 5+ years if focused on inpatient healthcare.

Seattle industry experience.

Licensed architect with strong technical expertise.

Proficient in Revit, Rhino + Grasshopper, and Adobe Suite.

Knowledge of building codes, specifications, and construction administration.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

LEED GA certification must be obtained within 6 months if not already held.

One additional sustainability credential required within a year (e.g., LEED AP, WELL AP, Passive House).

Deep experience with complex medical facilities design.

Skilled in quality control and assurance in architectural design.

Strong stakeholder management skills.

Work Environment This role follows a hybrid schedule, requiring in‑office presence on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, with remote work available on Wednesday and Friday. Flexibility is important, as offsite meetings may occasionally affect the weekly routine. Job Type & Location Permanent position based out of Seattle, WA.

Pay and Benefits Pay range: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00/yr.
