Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) Lead
to manage and optimize digital delivery processes in the Advanced Manufacturing sector. This site‑based role offers flexible home office options within the United States. Base Pay Range
$111,100.00/yr – $145,725.00/yr Responsibilities
As VDC Lead, you will lead VDC/BIM digital delivery management and leadership by aligning technologies with internal and client goals. Your key tasks include: Design and Construction BIM execution plan development for EPCM projects. 3D logistics, safety planning, 4D scheduling, 5D cost and quantity take‑offs. Common Data Environment (Autodesk Construction Cloud) administration from design to construction. Clash detection, clash resolution meetings, and coordination with trade partners. BIM subject‑matter expert support, laser scan integration, and Scan to BIM facilitation. Model improvement, as‑built processes, and progress reporting via 360 photos, laser scans, and drone data. Technology support for field staff and mobile device training. Stakeholder collaboration for business development, proposals, and estimates. On‑site VDC leadership, daily presence, and coordination with field operations. Recruit, mentor, and develop team expertise. Site location will be near Baton Rouge, LA, but the role is open to qualified candidates across the U.S. Qualifications
At least 7 years of VDC/BIM experience within the construction industry and proven onsite leadership of VDC activities are required. Additional preferred qualifications include: Strong understanding of BIM technologies in manufacturing environments. Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, and Autodesk Construction Cloud. Laser scanning and point‑cloud data management expertise. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills. Experience developing and implementing BIM execution plans. Strong grasp of construction processes and MEP systems. Ideal Additional Qualifications
