Senior Organisational Culture Partner - Diversity & Inclusion Responsibilities

Ensure the global Diversity & Inclusion strategy aligns with ByteDance’s business objectives and ByteStyle values.

Partner and provide strategic counsel to business leaders and HRBPs to embed D&I principles into employee lifecycle, including talent acquisition, retention, performance management, and career development frameworks.

Guide and measure the company's Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), strengthening governance structures and enabling regional leadership models.

Manage global calendar of heritage month campaigns, ensuring thoughtful, intersectional programming that resonates across regions.

Develop and facilitate workshops, learning sessions, and executive education focused on building inclusive teams, cross‑cultural awareness and bias mitigating.

Partner with the Performance & Incentives (Compensation) team to manage gender pay gap disclosures globally. Collaborate with cross‑functional HR stakeholders to assess policies and practices that may create barriers to equity or inclusion.

Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of progressive experience in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, HR, Organizational Development, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a global leadership capacity.

Deep knowledge of global D&I frameworks, cross‑cultural dynamics, and evolving workplace trends across APAC, EMEA, and AMS regions.

Proven ability to influence and collaborate with senior executives and cross‑functional stakeholders in complex, matrixed environments.

Track record of designing and delivering enterprise‑level programs that drive measurable change in inclusion, equity, and belonging.

Experience managing employee communities or ERGs and scaling global community governance.

Strong analytical and storytelling skills – able to translate data into action and compelling narratives.

Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving progress in a high‑growth, fast‑paced tech environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Excellent communication skills, engaging diverse audiences from engineers to C‑suite executives.

Passion for culture, curiosity about global identity, and high emotional intelligence.

Experience in a multilingual, multicultural organization.

Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to facilitate effective communication with Mandarin‑speaking employees and stakeholders, including those based in Mainland China.

Ability to design e‑learnings on Articulate (or other platforms) is a plus.

Job Information Base salary range: $156,000 – $280,800 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. Eligible for discretionary bonuses, restricted stock units, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid parental leave, disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, 10 paid holidays, 10 paid sick days, and 17 days of paid personal time (prorated). Benefits may vary by employment nature and country location.
