Description
The Director of Enrollment provides strategic leadership and hands‑on management of student recruitment, admissions, and enrollment operations for the Equine Gap Program, Summer Camps, and Hybrid Programs within the Animal Sciences Division. This individual develops and executes enrollment strategies that align with the institution’s mission, emphasizing experiential education, animal stewardship, and innovative learning pathways.
Strategic Planning & Leadership
Develop and implement comprehensive enrollment plans for equine and animal science programs, including recruitment goals, marketing initiatives, and outreach strategies.
Analyze enrollment trends to inform data‑driven decisions and adapt strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with program directors, faculty, and marketing teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across all offerings.
Recruitment & Admissions Management
Oversee the full admissions cycle for all equine gap, summer camp, and hybrid program participants—from inquiry through enrollment.
Create and manage outreach initiatives targeting prospective students, parents, and educational partners.
Represent the programs at conferences, agricultural fairs, and equine events to promote visibility and engagement.
Develop partnerships with high schools, 4‑H organizations, FFA chapters, and equine training centers.
Marketing & Communications
Coordinate with marketing teams to design print and digital recruitment materials, social media campaigns, and website content.
Ensure messaging reflects the distinctive experiential learning and animal care opportunities offered by the programs.
Monitor and evaluate marketing effectiveness and lead‑generation metrics.
Student Experience & Retention
Collaborate with student success teams to ensure smooth onboarding, orientation, and transition experiences for participants.
Gather feedback to continually improve program appeal and participant satisfaction.
Data & Reporting
Maintain accurate enrollment data and prepare reports on recruitment outcomes and enrollment forecasts.
Oversee CRM systems to track prospects and manage communication flows.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of
5 years of experience
in admissions, enrollment management, or program development (preferably in experiential or agricultural education).
Strong understanding of the equine and animal sciences industry.
Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
Experience with CRM tools, digital marketing, and data analytics preferred.

Salary Band: $29,250-$88,000/ Annually. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions and department budget.
