POSITION PURPOSE Lead the vision definition and translation into strategy of large scale, complex and critical technical products, putting the customer first throughout.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to drive product development, ensuring alignment on features, timelines, and quality standards while facilitating effective communication between stakeholders.
Utilize data analytics and user feedback to make informed product decisions, prioritize enhancements, and measure the success of products, continuously iterating to improve user experience and achieve business objectives.
Coach and mentor junior product managers, playing a critical role in shaping and developing the overall expertise of the Product capability across the organization.
SCOPE You’ll lead strategic initiatives to optimise asset productivity and strengthen supply chain performance. Your focus will be on maximising output from our assets and driving improvements in planning, while championing product accountability and crafting compelling narratives that build consumer confidence.
You’ll define a vision for insight-driven products where actionable insights are the core value. This means understanding adoption metrics, satisfaction, and value realisation, creating product roadmaps, applying prioritisation frameworks, and separating problems from proposed solutions.
Your approach will emphasise long‑term value, scalability, and reusability, ensuring features fit into the broader ecosystem and company goals.
MAJOR / KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Define product vision and roadmap by aligning with business goals and market needs.
Collaborate with engineering, design, and marketing teams to drive product development, ensuring alignment on features, timelines, and quality standards while facilitating effective communication between stakeholders.
Gather requirements from stakeholders, prioritize features, and communicate progress and updates effectively.
Understand technical architecture and requirements; ensure feasibility and deliverability of product features.
Conduct market and competitive analysis to inform product decisions and identify opportunities for innovation.
Advocate for the end‑user by conducting user research and usability testing to inform design and functionality.
Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance and success.
Lead and facilitate agile development processes, including sprint planning, backlog management, and retrospectives.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure product success and alignment with business objectives.
Gather feedback post‑launch to iterate and enhance product features and performance based on user needs and market trends.
EXPERIENCE
Extensive experience in technical and/or supply chain-focused product management.
Strong understanding of APIs and software systems.
Exposure to IoT, telemetry, and asset tracking technologies.
Supply chain domain knowledge (FMCG, logistics, manufacturing).
Skilled in business problem-solving and value realisation.
Logical thinker with a structured approach.
Exceptional storytelling ability – turning data into insights.
Iterative approach – test ideas, adapt quickly, and learn fast.
Salary and Compensation The salary range for this position is $130,000 to $175,000 / year. Salary ranges provided take into account a wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications, geographic differentials and other business and organizational needs. Therefore, actual amounts offered may be higher or lower than the range provided. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be part of a total offering beyond medical & retirement benefits and may include other monetary incentives or business benefits.
