Key Responsibilities

Shape strategic direction and growth of the Business Unit in the life sciences market.

Collaborate with business fields to develop product strategies, cohesive offerings, and value propositions, prioritizing initiatives that drive growth.

Inspire and empower commercial teams across Regions while working closely with marketing execution teams to ensure successful multi‑channel initiatives.

Define and execute pricing strategies that align with business objectives, maximize profitability, and enhance competitive edge.

Oversee business planning and execution functions, guiding strategic planning for the unit.

Drive the growth and success of the Biology Franchise, positioning it as a leader in the life sciences sector and creating significant value for the organization.

Who You Are

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; Masters, MBA, or PhD preferred.

10+ years of proven experience in strategic marketing within the life sciences or biotechnology sectors, with 7+ years of leadership/managerial experience.

Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer insights, enabling you to identify opportunities and threats effectively.

Excellent leadership skills with a track record of building and developing successful teams in both direct and matrix environments.

Strategic thinker focused on results, capable of developing long‑term marketing strategies that align with business objectives.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, building strong stakeholder relationships and presenting ideas clearly.

Strong project management capabilities, ensuring initiatives are executed on time and within budget.

Proficient in data analysis and strategic planning tools, using metrics to inform decision‑making and optimize marketing performance.

Knowledge of compliance regulations and data management best practices, ensuring all marketing activities adhere to industry standards.

Ability to navigate ambiguity and provide clear direction in a highly dynamic and fast‑paced environment.

Experience leading across a complex, international network of stakeholders, including Commercial, R&D, Quality, and Operations.

Ability to travel internationally (up to 20%).

Pay range

for this position: $209,600 – $314,400. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job‑related factors. Position may be eligible for sales or performance‑based bonuses.
