The nurse is expected to practice autonomously consistent with ANA Standards of Practice and Professional Performance. Independent judgment is expected to be exercised within the context of interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches to patient care. This position is required to float between 3 clinic locations which are located in Hillcrest and La Jolla.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing.
RN License issued by the State of California.
BART or BLS certification at time of hire with commitment to get BART within six (6) months of hire date.
Minimum one (1) year of recent RN Ambulatory clinic experience.
Phone triage experience.
Experience working closely with surgeons.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage multiple levels of information and responsibilities, and to quickly assess moderately-complex problems to develop potential solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
BSN.
Colorectal surgery experience.
Triage.
Bilingual Spanish.
Special Conditions
Must be able to work various hours, days, shifts, on-call and locations based on business needs.
This position is required to float between 5 clinic locations which are located in Hillcrest, La Jolla, Rancho Bernardo, and Encinitas as needed.
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $180,716 - $180,716 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)
Hourly Equivalent: $86.55 - $86.55
