In this role, you’ll report to the SSG NA Product Management Leader and drive the product strategy and roadmap for Sage Fixed Assets in our Sage Specialized Solutions Portfolio. From a well‑established, on‑premises, market‑leading compliance product to an emerging cloud‑hosted, AI‑powered Fixed Assets service, your focus will be to drive customer‑centric innovation and modernize the products through deep understanding of customer needs and experience. Your valuable work will be the key ingredient that drives more customers to choose Sage to grow their business. Your priority will be our Sage Fixed Assets product. Sage Fixed Assets helps our customers (SMBs) to easily manage their operational assets from purchase to disposal – staying tax compliant while maximizing savings and reducing operational costs. With the emergence of Sage AI tools and capability, the opportunity to optimize and automate compliance and adjacent workflows has never been greater.

This role is hybrid – three days a week out of our Atlanta or Lawrenceville office.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Vision:

Develop and communicate a clear product direction aligned with company goals and market opportunities. Conduct market research, analyze competition, engage with customers and partners to set the product strategy. Update the product roadmap and prioritize AI features and enhancements, including generative AI‑powered features to increase customer productivity.

Product Planning & Collaboration:

Collaborate with teams to create and maintain a well‑defined product backlog that includes user stories, epics, and features aligned with the product strategy. Participate in select Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and sprint reviews. Partner with product marketing and contribute to product pricing, positioning, and GTM activities ensuring alignment with the product strategy.

Performance Analysis and Iteration:

Partner with PMM, Finance, Sales, and Customer Support teams to analyze feedback, address customer concerns, and identify opportunities for improvement. Monitor “listening posts” and collect usage data to make data‑driven decisions to optimize features and drive product growth. Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on the product’s progress, milestones, and upcoming features.

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, or equivalent experience.

7+ years of strategic experience in Fixed Assets Products/Services Management with both on‑premise and cloud.

Well versed in utilizing continuous innovation and design thinking to deliver outcomes.

Experience with the Sage Fixed Assets product and familiarity with competitive alternatives.

Recognized as a Fixed Assets expert/influencer in the Accountant/Partner communities.

Proven record of successfully launching minimum viable products (MVPs) and implementing a continuous learning approach (“learning plan”).

Examples of questioning the status quo and breaking down barriers to achieve successful outcomes.

Effective communicator with the ability to articulate thoughts concisely in writing and while presenting to a range of audiences (internally or externally).

Collaboration experience with geographically distributed teams.

Willingness to travel (5‑8 times annually) for customer events, leadership meetings, and focused team activities.
