Procurement Analyst / FOIA Support Consultant
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to provide FOIA support and procurement analysis for a federal government customer. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys research, documentation, and working with complex information while supporting transparency and compliance across agency programs. The position is fully remote.
Base pay range $50,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze federal procurement and contract files
Develop documentation and responses for FOIA requests
Identify and apply the appropriate FOIA and Privacy Act exemptions
Interpret procurement regulations including FAR and agency specific guidance
Maintain accurate records and practice operational security when handling sensitive information
Work closely with internal teams and government counterparts to support procurement and transparency requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. college or university
In lieu of a degree, six years of experience in federal procurement or private sector contracting will be accepted
Four years of experience as a Procurement Analyst or FOIA Specialist supporting a federal agency
Strong analytical and qualitative skills with the ability to draw logical and well supported conclusions
Proven experience reviewing government documentation and contract files
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
Ability to maintain operational security when handling procurement sensitive or law enforcement sensitive information
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with PRISM or other federal contract writing systems
Background supporting transparency programs or legal review processes
