San Francisco, CA Must have dental front office experience - bilingual English/Spanish. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our Orthodontic Team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth patient experience from initial contact through dental treatment completion. This position requires strong dental service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced dental office environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Personal confirmation of all exam, observation, and recall patients New patient appointments to maintain a full productive exam schedule every day At confirmation call, remind patients to fill out paperwork to ensure the patient is seen in a timely manner Support of the office, doctor, and team members Discussion of treatment plan with patients/parents Documentation of diagnostic findings, detailed treatment recommendations and any other pertinent information discussed during the initial consultation by the doctor or treatment coordinator Schedule contracts, records and any follow up appointments in Practice Management System Maintain and utilize recall system Maintain start conversion percentage goal of 65% per month Enter/print/mail patient letters to patients and doctors Pre-write/print new patient exam letters to doctors and extraction/prescription letters for doctors to review and sign Follow up on exam patients with at least 3 contacts post-exam documenting pending cases Remind Doctors of any needed letters, x-ray readings, emails to referring doctors, etc. to finish the New Patient exam and enroll the patient into treatment Prepare contracts and discuss financial arrangements; obtain responsible party signature Explain risks and limitations and obtain patient signature Enter treatment plan in chart/computer Educate and discuss the dentist\'s treatment plan after diagnosis and review with the patient Discuss dental benefits when applicable Send pre-estimates and follow up with patient Utilize technology in the office (e.g., digital photos, intraoral camera photos) when educating patients and discussing treatment Monitor treatment plans and case acceptance Education And/or Experience
Must have previous front office dental experience Able to communicate with patients and their families in detail about orthodontic treatment English and Spanish required Knowledge in treatment case presentation Able to make financial arrangements with case acceptance Computer literate Seniorities and Employment
