Overview
The Facility Manager is responsible for the repair and maintenance of the building structure and fixtures within the facility, including all construction work, services, and utilities available within the facility. They are also responsible for maintaining cleanliness across all areas and land surrounding the plant, ensuring adequate staffing and resources within the Facility Department, and coordinating with external contractors as needed. Responsibilities
Repair and maintenance of the building structure and fixtures, including all construction work, services, and utilities within the facility. Maintain cleanliness across all common areas, office space, production areas, warehouse space, and surrounding land; ensure adequate staffing and resources within the Facility Department. Ensure availability of spare parts and consumables for ongoing maintenance tasks (e.g., light bulbs, cables, etc.). Procurement and use of cleaning and hygiene materials (e.g., paper towels, soaps, detergents). Regularly inspect and schedule planned overhauls and installation projects; coordinate with external contractors to minimize disruption to production. Procurement of services provided by third-party contractors; supervise with a Facility Technician to ensure safe practices and safeguard company property. Coordinate maintenance tasks with production leadership to adhere to the production plan; manage performance evaluation and staff development. Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements during facility work; maintain calibration of instruments as required; maintain facility drawings and layouts. Maintain a log of major malfunctions and a weekly status report on facility-related issues. Adhere to legal and regulatory requirements for electrical, mechanical, and architectural work; ensure safety and environmental policy compliance. Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar field Primary Skills
