Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with a current CA license and advanced cardiac procedure skills for a hospital assignment.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital Cath Lab setting
Day shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 to 15:30
Weekend shifts required every other weekend
On-call required at least one day per week and one weekend per month, with opportunities for additional call
Care for adult patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
Responsibilities include circulating for procedures, administering and monitoring procedural sedation, and managing emergency cardiac interventions
Orientation modules are required prior to start and are customized by specialty
Local and travel candidates are accepted at the same rate
Return staff are considered on a case-by‑case basis
Requirements
Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Proven experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures including PCI, TAVI/TAVR, IABP and Impella
Experience in sheath removal and monitoring, procedural sedation, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
Ability to assist with central line insertion and management
