Your expertise in site selection, market analysis, and negotiation will be vital in identifying and securing the best locations for our mission‑critical applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of site acquisition specialists, providing guidance and direction for global site selection.
Conduct in‑depth market research and analysis to identify potential sites in targeted regions and metropolitan areas.
Develop and execute site selection strategies, evaluating various factors such as market rates, infrastructure, and local regulations.
Negotiate and secure favorable commercial terms with data center operators, including lease agreements, service contracts, and legal documentation.
Ensure Oracle’s specifications and standards are met in data hall design and construction.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including capacity planning, engineering, legal, and operations, to ensure timely and successful site deployments.
Prepare and present executive updates and reports on site acquisition progress.
Requirements
Extensive experience in site selection, real estate acquisition, and development, particularly for large‑scale industrial projects.
Proven track record in negotiating and managing complex colocation lease agreements.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data‑driven decisions.
Proficiency in market research and understanding of global data center industry trends.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams.
Knowledge of real estate development processes, including land acquisition, permitting, and legal considerations.
Willingness to travel globally (approximately 50% of the time) to visit data centers and potential sites.
