The Human Resources Generalist will support daily HR operations, including leave administration, benefits, payroll coordination, compliance preparation, employee relations support, HRIS updates, and cross-functional HR projects. This role reports to the Associate Director of Human Resources & Organizational Development. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, comfortable managing confidential information, and experienced in handling multi-state HR processes, including FMLA and ADA-related administration. Key Responsibilities

Provide daily HR operational support across recruitment, payroll coordination, benefits administration, performance reviews, compliance reporting, and HR project work. Serve as a technical liaison between HR and external vendors to resolve escalated inquiries and system issues. Administer employee leaves including FMLA, short-term disability, parental leave, bereavement leave, and other applicable policies while ensuring regulatory compliance. Maintain accurate documentation and update leave records within the HRIS (ADP). Prepare HR reports, metrics, audits, and compliance filings. Coordinate cyclical HR projects such as year-end processing, W-2 and 1095-C review, policy updates, and process optimization projects. Update and maintain the employee handbook and HR content on the internal company website. Support recruitment and onboarding/offboarding activities as needed. Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting HR operations. Minimum of 2 years of experience administering employee leaves of absence. Experience with HRIS systems and process improvement work. Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, sorting/filtering). Proficiency in Microsoft Word (track changes, editing, formatting). Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to maintain confidentiality. Compensation

Base Salary Range:

$69,000 – $80,000 annually Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance Bonus eligibility and amount are based upon company and/or individual performance. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, skills, training, and qualifications. Benefits
