Chicago, IL — Hybrid (2 days on‑site, 3 days remote)

Overview Join our HR & Organizational Development team to provide hands‑on support across core HR functions: leave administration, compliance, benefits, payroll, talent operations, and employee lifecycle processes.

Key Responsibilities

Drive daily HR operations: payroll coordination, benefits administration, recruitment support, performance review cycles, and HR projects.

Administer leaves of absence (FMLA, short‑term disability, bereavement, parental leave); ensure regulatory and policy compliance, accurate records, and confidential communication.

Produce HR reports and metrics; support audits, compliance filings, and vendor implementations; maintain SOPs and HRIS process documentation.

Track legal/compliance requirements; assist with year‑end deliverables (W‑2, 1095‑C).

Update the employee handbook and maintain accurate HR content on the intranet.

Qualifications

5+ years’ HR operations experience; 2+ years administering leaves of absence.

HRIS experience; project coordination and process optimization background.

Excel proficiency (sort, filter, VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and Word (track changes).

Working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.

Strong communication, organization, and confidentiality.

Compensation

Salary Range:

$70,000–$90,000

Bonus:

Annual discretionary bonus based on company and/or individual performance.
