Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position requiring a NY RN license, BLS, ACLS, and immunotherapy and chemotherapy certifications.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital Med/Surg Oncology unit
Care for oncology patients with potential for immunotherapy and chemotherapy administration
May float to Med/Surg districts and surge areas as required
Night shift position from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Alternating weekend shifts required
Provide comprehensive care for oncology patients requiring chemo and immunotherapy
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic setting
Testing and educational modules must be completed prior to assignment start
Two recent positive professional references in the specialty required for consideration
Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted at a reduced rate
Returning employees are subject to an eligibility review process
Requirements
Active NY RN license required
Current AHA certifications in BLS and ACLS required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in oncology or med/surg nursing
Immunotherapy and chemotherapy certification required
Oncology nursing certification preferred
