About the Role We are seeking an experienced

Manager, Cost Accounting

to lead cost accounting functions for a leading technology manufacturing organization. This role is critical to ensuring accurate costing, inventory valuation, and financial insights that drive operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

Provide strategic insights through financial and operational analysis to improve profitability.

Own and manage the month-end close process for cost and inventory accounting.

Lead all cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.

Analyze manufacturing performance by comparing actual costs to standards and identifying variance drivers.

Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and engineering teams to ensure accurate costing and margin management.

Develop and continuously improve cost accounting procedures and internal controls.

Lead annual standard cost roll and support budgeting and forecasting for COGS.

Coordinate physical inventory counts and cycle counts for accurate reporting.

Act as a key business partner to leadership with a hands‑on, solution‑oriented approach.

What You Need

SAP experience highly preferred; Oracle or other ERP systems acceptable.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross‑functional collaboration.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s/MBA preferred).

CPA, CMA, or similar certification strongly preferred.

7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 5+ years as an individual contributor.

Experience in technology manufacturing or other manufactured product industries.

Familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Sigma) is a plus.
