Senior Mechanical Piping Project Engineer
Experience requirements
Minimum 10 years in refinery industry, specifically in piping/stationary equipment, providing technical support in the field of piping/static equipment engineering to operating facilities, projects and technology deployment to enhance reliability and safety.
Strong knowledge of best engineering practices, solid industry codes and standards background (ASME, API, NACE, ASTM, ISO) and use of engineering software (preferable for CAESAR II, ASPEN EDR).
Capable to perform special studies and analyses in a specialized field, such as necessary mechanical calculations for piping, pressure vessel, shell and tube heat exchangers, air cooler fin fans, branch reinforcement, MAWP, hydrotest pressure, rating and/or de‑rating, fitness for service to evaluate flaws or damage, pipe stress analysis, flange calculations, and perform nozzle calculations.
Capable to prepare small detailed design packages, piping layout, material take off, material selection.
Plant turn‑around experience supporting maintenance activities of static equipment, including design of pressure vessel repair as per ASME PCC‑2.
Experience in large oil & gas projects is essential.
Piping design experience is essential.
Initial 1‑year contract.
