Boston University As the first point of contact for people when they reach out to WBUR, the receptionist is responsible for answering telephone calls, greeting visitors, and responding emails with a friendly demeanor and a focus on being as helpful as possible. This position is part-time and in-person, on a 12 PM to 5 PM, Monday-Friday schedule. Reports to the Operations Manager. Responsibilities

Manage reception desk operations on a day-to-day basis. Respond to and forward calls, maintain station email inboxes, provide guest access to building and parking garage and some administrative tasks. Maintain fresh coffee, clean, and organize breakroom. Operate and maintain kitchen supplies and equipment including dishwasher, coffee machine, range, and other equipment. Receive and distribute packages and mail as they are delivered to or picked up from WBUR's studio. Qualifications

1-3 years of experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent required. Strong customer service skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and familiarity with office equipment. About WBUR

Position Type: Part-Time. Schedule: 12 PM to 5 PM, Monday-Friday. Salary: Hiring range $18.00 – $28.00 per hour. The salary of the finalist will be set based on factors including budgets, qualifications, experience, etc.
