Position Summary:
The Director, Client Delivery and Implementation is responsible for leading and executing the implementation of Health Plan client contracts and new product launches. This role ensures timely, accurate, and efficient onboarding and delivery for clients, working closely with internal departments and serving as a key liaison between the organization and Health Plan clients. This role supports the VP of Client Delivery in driving operational excellence, resolving client issues, and ensuring contract compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the implementation of new Health Plan client contracts and products, ensuring all deliverables and timelines are met.
Coordinate with internal departments (operations, product development, IT, etc.) to ensure delegated activities are executed according to contract requirements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the implementation phase, addressing questions, concerns, and escalations.
Facilitate client meetings, presentations, and training sessions to ensure successful onboarding and understanding of contract terms.
Monitor project progress, identify risks or issues, and elevate to the VP of Client Delivery as needed.
Document and report on implementation status, milestones, and outcomes for internal and client stakeholders.
Support post-sales activities, including transition to ongoing operations and client delivery teams.
Provide feedback to product development and operations teams based on client input and implementation experience.
Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
Maintain accurate records and data integrity in company systems and databases.
Perform additional duties as assigned by the VP of Client Delivery.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent experience in healthcare, managed care, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in client implementation, project management, or operations within the managed care or health insurance industry.
Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and managing complex projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interpret contract documents, technical manuals, and regulatory requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and database programs.
Analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to troubleshoot and present solutions.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to conduct meetings and presentations to clients and internal teams.
Knowledge of medical terminology, CPT coding, and billing procedures is a plus.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to travel as needed for client implementations.
Travel Required Yes . 10-15%
