Job Summary The General Manager (GM) provides strategic and personnel leadership for the Kentucky Football Program. Serving as the program's chief administrator and personnel strategist, the GM oversees roster construction, recruiting operations, transfer portal strategy, player personnel evaluation, and departmental management. The GM partners closely with the Head Coach on long‑term roster planning, program vision, and organizational structure, ensuring the football program operates at the highest competitive and compliance standards within NCAA and SEC regulations.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Strong knowledge of NCAA and conference rules and regulations.

Demonstrated experience evaluating football talent and constructing roster strategies.

Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal communication skills.

Master's degree in relevant field.

Experience in a Power Five or Group of Five football program, or NFL front‑office/scouting environment.

Advanced experience with recruiting databases, analytics platforms, and video analysis tools.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes.

Preferred Education/Experience

37 years of experience in collegiate or professional football operations, personnel, recruiting, analytics, or coaching.

At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
