Branch Manager
to lead its operations in a key
Central California
territory. This role will oversee a multi‑functional team focused on construction, agriculture, and industrial equipment sales, rentals, and service. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with proven business acumen, customer relationship skills, and a performance‑driven mindset. Responsibilities Include: Lead all branch operations including sales, rentals, service, and parts to meet revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal teams Manage branch profit and loss performance and ensure alignment with company financial goals Oversee staffing, development, and performance of branch employees, identifying high‑potential team members and providing coaching and mentorship Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement across all departments Collaborate with internal leadership to execute company strategies and ensure alignment with corporate objectives Conduct regular customer site visits and ride‑alongs with sales team members Maintain facility standards, ensuring a clean, professional, and well‑maintained work environment Monitor market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities For more information on this position or the full job description, please contact Jessica Rowe at Herk & Associates: Qualifications
5+ years of industry experience, preferably in heavy equipment, construction, or industrial machinery Prior experience managing branch operations or a cross‑functional team Strong leadership and people management skills Proven track record of managing profit and loss statements and delivering business results Excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills Working knowledge of service operations, product support, and equipment lifecycle High school diploma or GED required; college degree or equivalent experience preferred
