Job Summary
- Location Requirement: Must be local; hybrid work arrangement.
- Red Hat Clustering: Must have hands-on experience with Red Hat Cluster technologies.
- Linux System Administration: Manage, configure, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers, ensuring stability, uptime, and performance.
- Configuration Management: Expertise in Ansible for automating system provisioning, configuration, and deployments (including playbook and role development).
- Veritas Technologies: Strong proficiency with Veritas tools, including NetBackup, Volume Manager, and Cluster Server for backup, storage, and disaster recovery.
- Unix Scripting: Advanced skills in Unix/Linux scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Shell, Python) for automation and troubleshooting.
- Virtualization & Cloud: Experience with VMware and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Containerization: Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes for containerized environments.
- System Compliance & Security: Ensure compliance with security, access controls, and change management policies; implement best practices in hardening and vulnerability management.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Work with cross‑functional teams and maintain clear documentation of procedures and configurations.
- Requirements: Minimum 5 years of Red Hat Linux system administration experience; strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to prioritize and perform under pressure.
- Preferred Skills: Cloud experience (Azure), strong networking knowledge, and experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices.
