Location: Chicago preferred; open to remote candidates with some travel to Chicago

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP EWM Architect to design, configure, and deliver advanced warehouse management solutions within SAP EWM. This is a hands‑on technical architecture role , focused on building scalable, high‑performance solutions—not project oversight. In this position, you’ll work directly with business and operations teams to translate complex warehouse processes into robust SAP EWM designs. You will lead configuration across key functional areas (inbound/outbound, inventory, RF, automation), ensure strong integration with SAP S/4HANA and 3PL systems, and support full lifecycle activities including testing, data migration, and go‑live readiness across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and configure SAP EWM solutions following best practices.
  • Translate operational workflows into detailed technical designs.
  • Execute hands‑on configuration across EWM modules and RF framework.
  • Lead SAP S/4HANA and 3PL integrations, including RICEFW design.
  • Support data migration, testing cycles, cutover, and hyper‑care.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Mentor junior team members on EWM best practices (secondary responsibility).

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in SAP Supply Chain; 5+ years hands‑on SAP EWM.
  • Delivered 2+ full‑cycle EWM implementations.
  • Strong experience with automated warehouse integrations (AS/RS, conveyors, etc.).
  • Expertise across EWM, inventory, RF, labor management, and value‑added services.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • SAP EWM certification preferred.
