Senior Grant Accountant
with deep expertise in
New York City and State-funded programs . This is a
high-impact, high-visibility role

Critical role for compliance across major NYC/State grants
Manage multimillion-dollar city/state-funded programs with minimal ramp-up

Key Responsibilities of Senior Grant Accountant
Manage
full-cycle accounting
for New York City and State grants (OCFS, OTDA, SOFA, etc.)
Oversee
grant reconciliations , budget monitoring, and compliance for multiple funded programs
Identify, allocate, and reclassify
allowable vs. unallowable expenses
in alignment with funder guidelines
Serve as a senior resource and mentor to a junior grant accountant
Ensure
accurate financial reporting
Must-Have Qualifications of Senior Grant Accountant
5+ years
of grant accounting or grant management experience with
NYC/State-funded programs
Direct experience with at least one NY State agency ( OCFS, OTDA, SOFA ) and NYC's
Passport
system
Strong working knowledge of
MIP
and/or
Sage Intacct
