Responsibilities
- Ensure the overall health and security posture of complex network architectures.
- Collaborate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders on organization‑wide IT strategies.
- Lead and coordinate the creation and/or evolution of the enterprise architecture function or program.
- Support all phases of design, implementation, proactive monitoring, troubleshooting of networks and related technologies.
- Analyze network‑related security posture—firewalls, IDS, VPNs, security controls and policies.
- Develop system specifications, architecture designs, integration, and test plans, and all relevant documentation.
- Develop security assessment and mitigation strategies, maintain DoD Information Assurance compliance, and ensure service performance indicators are met.
- Design and manage network infrastructure including routers, switches, load balancers, WAN optimizers, firewalls, wireless controllers, access points, ISE, and IDS/IPS devices.
- Work closely with Network Engineers and Network Operations to support continual improvement of the IT environment.
- Assist in designing and implementing scalable network automation and managing complex deployment via automation.
Requirements
- 8 years of relevant experience.
- CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure, Data Center, or Security.
- Comprehensive knowledge of technical and architectural aspects of enterprise‑wide IT.
